About Us
- 7-ON
- We are 7-ON. Seven minds that don’t think alike but are simpatico in this—our belief in the transformative properties of our artform and its place in Australian culture. Over 150 plays between us (and still counting)... Our work has been produced in Botswana, the US, the UK, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Denmark, France, Canada, Korea and Japan. Productions have been staged in Australia in just about every major theatre company in every state, and smaller theatres including Gunning Shire Hall. Over 30 awards include: best play London New Play Festival, the Adelaide Critics’ Circle Prize, the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award, the Phillip Parsons Young Playwright’s Award, the Human Rights Award for Drama, 3 Griffin Playwriting Awards, 5 Australian Writers’ Guild Awards and many more.
